Dentapreg® UFM fiber mesh held between gloved fingers.

Revolutionise your dental restorations with Dentapreg® UFM – ultra-thin glass fiber composite flexible and formable mesh, designed to reinforce and extend the life of composite work significantly.

Dentapreg® UFM applied to a molar for dental restoration.

The fiber-reinforcement disperses occlusal forces mimicking the effect of dentinoenamel junction to prevent common fractures, ensuring better durability and longevity of your work.

Dentapreg® UFM applied to an incisor for dental restoration.

This innovative solution offers versatile applications, from crown reinforcement to incisal edge reconstruction, reducing the risk of fractures in high-failure scenarios and thus enhances your patient satisfaction.

DENTAPREG INNOVATION: RESTORE TEETH WITH CONFIDENCE AND EASE

Dentapreg® is the perfect tool for biomimetic dentistry. For composite restoration to be successful there needs to be precise imitation of the original structure of the tooth. Two innovative products – Dentapreg® UFM and Dentapreg® PINPost – have been developed to do just that. The toughness of Dentapreg®’s unique fiber-glass, light-curing stretchable strip, allied with its ability to adapt perfectly to any shape of dental crown, make it indispensable for any minimally invasive dentistry toolkit. For restorations of all sizes and complexity, Dentapreg® is able to mimic the tooth’s dentinoenamel junction (DEJ) – as a result, occlusal forces are spread across the crown, thus preventing cracks and boosting the longevity of large restorations.  And when you need to reconstruct teeth following endodontic treatment or the fracturing of vital teeth, look no further than the Dentapreg® PINPost for fast, risk-free crown retention.

CLASS I AND II RESTORATIONS

Rather than preparing a tooth for a crown restoration or fully extracting it, Dentapreg® can help to save a tooth quickly, without the need for complex techniques, materials or instruments. Dentapreg® UFM has the unique property of being able to mimic a tooth’s DEJ when placed in a restoration. This means greatly increased durability for your composite restoration work. These ultra thin, highly adaptable strips are made for minimally invasive dentistry – and for very noticeable clinical success stories.

CLASS IV RESTORATIONS

Dentapreg® UFM’s smart flexibility means that it’s suitable for a variety of different applications in restorative dentistry and minimally invasive prosthetics: crown build up and restoration, the strengthening of large restorations, the reinforcement of composite veneers and the reconstruction of incisal edges. Class IV restorations, such as for a chipped incisal edge, have by far the highest failure rate: they fracture all too often. To prevent the risk of a restored crown fracturing again, reach for an ultra thin glass fiber strip from Dentapreg®. This reinforcement will act as a biomimetic replacement of the DEJ by spreading the occlusal forces across the entire crown and preventing stress concentration in a single point, and thus: no fracturing. Not only can you trust Dentapreg® UFM to prevent restoration fractures, but it also delivers highly aesthetic results thanks to its overall malleability and ability to smoothly blend in with the colour of the surrounding composite.

Dr. Jeffrey Hoos

Doing beautiful restorative dentistry, based on great science, with a business model in mind, enhances the ability to have a successful practice. Dentapreg® restorative and prosthetic materials ensure that the BALANCE is achieved.  Would not want to practice without Dentapreg®.

Dr. Eric van Zytveld

University of Colorado, School of Dentistry, Private Practitioner, Denver, Colorado, USA

Dentapreg fiber-reinforced composites have been an important part of my practice for over eleven years.  The SFM reinforced periodontal splints and PFM reinforced anterior bridges have given years of service.  In October 2023, I examined a periodontal splint from tooth #22 to tooth #27 which was placed in March 2013. The splint has never broken and the only maintenance was reattaching tooth #23 to the splint in November 2017.  An anterior bridge to replace tooth #23 was placed in July 2014 and is still performing well.

Dentapreg® is a comprehensive set of construction composite materials. These materials are widely used in dentistry, mainly due to their excellent mechanical characteristics. They can be advantageously used as splints, framework structures of adhesive bridges, reinforcements of temporary fixed bridges, reinforcements of fixed and removable restorations including hybrids anchored on implants, reinforcements of radices and completion of destroyed clinical tooth crowns. The Dentapreg® system meets the requirements of both esthetic and minimally invasive dentistry

Dr. Nikhil Bahuguna

Director and Chief Dentist at Demystifying Smiles, Noida, India, with international dental qualifications and leadership roles.

Restorative dentistry, a name synonymous with BioMimetic Dentistry requires the use of materials and techniques mimicking nature. The use of stress reducing and dissipating materials like the Dentapeg® fiber reinforcement has made a huge difference in the bio-mechanical outlook of doing restorations in my practice. The physical properties which match the natural flexure give stronger and longer lasting core restorations and the minimally invasive radicular reinforcement protecting against cracks and fractures of the tooth-restoration complex  is the biggest asset in saving the teeth for long term success.
